Boys! Boys!! Boys!!!

Gammy and Papaw came down last weekend, it has been 4 months since we have seen them. We had a great time with them. Luke and Jack of course love them and take right to them the instant they walk in the door. Jack gave gammy the longest hug in "Jack history" when he saw her. We miss all of our family and wish they could all move here with us.

Luke played dress up for the first time this week, our wonderful neighbor-georgia family-friend, gave us a ton of her boys dress up clothes/halloween costumes. Matt and I were amazed he even put on the batman costume b/c he is usually scared of masks. But he has wore it off and on for the past couple of days and when anybody comes over we have to try it on for them. Thanks, Pam!!!

We have set up a computer for Luke in his playroom when he started preschool since he takes a computer class we thought it would help him since we had not let him play on the computer at all before he started school. We were very surprised how well he does with it. But we were amazed this week when I found Jack actually doing some of the computer games. He would sit in their with Luke and watch him do them and took it all in.
Uh oh!! The boys have been very good and quiet while I have been on the computer. Luke just came around the corner and said they are buiding a fish tank. I hope its not like the swimming pool of 2008 they built while I was on the phone. (bowls of water poured on the kitchen floor !!!!)

fun pics

These pics are just cute. Luke took that one of himself, he is really getting into taking pics. The pics of Jack is just proof that we have a monkey in our house, Jack climbs on or in anything he can get into. If the washer or dryer doors are open he will be in them, he climbs on top of the table all day long. The top pic is Matt reading the boys their bed time story. Luke is growing up so fast in a couple of weeks he will be 4 years old and I'm trying to cherish all of these sweet moments. Luke has turned into these very sweet, sensitive and caring little boy in the last couple of months. It has amazed Matt and I how we are starting to see his "true personality" and how we are just amazed by it, but like us all we still have our moments. Every night he wants to say the blessing and he always ask who needs to be prayed for, I love that this is his heart speaking. Thank you God for such a blessing!

bath fun

What a fun bath they had. This was Jack's first whirlpool bubble bath and he loved it as you can see, its always Luke's fave. Luke pretended he was Santa Claus and would say "HO! HO! HO!" and Jack just splashed and splashed. Matt and I went to go see the movie Fireproof and it was so good, I recommend every couple to go and see it. Which this is our first movie to see since, The Passion of the Christ, it was so weird to actually sit through a movie that's not animated.

Happy Halloween 2008

Happy Halloween!
The boys had a great time last night. Jack was a monkey b/c he is our little monkey he climbs on everything, as you see, he kept climbing in and out of the stroller. He was adorable and the costume had a banana hanging from the hand and he chewed on the banana all night, he couldn't been happier. Luke was of course Lightning McQueen and I think he could not have found a more perfect costume for him. Last night, we did our Halloween tradition and went to our church's Hallelujah night, we usually go to a couple of friends houses before the church but we were running late so that got thrown out this year. The church rents jumpy houses, climbing walls, trains (Luke's fave), obstacle courses, and so much more. They have a lot of small games inside so the kids can get candy, too. Luke and Jack love it and so do Matt and I b/c we have no problem putting them to bed that night. The pic of Jack at the top is him double fisting lollipops, he sat in his chair for about thirty minutes eating the candy.
