Fall Festival

I haven't posted anything b/c we have been sick and there is nothing cute or fun about that. But we are well so we went to Luke's fall festival at his school. Luke is Lightning McQueen this year ,he loves wearing the car. He actually was this last year but only wore the costume for a maximum of 3 minutes on Halloween, so when he said he wanted to be this again we said, you got it. He zooms around the house racing other "cars", also known as Jack, and saying, "ka-chow". At the fall festival, we rode on the hayride and picked a pumpkin out at the pumpkin patch. After this we went inside because it was to cold and windy, there we played games and received prizes. After school, that afternoon it was warmer and we finally got the chance to paint our pumpkins that we picked at the fire station about 2 weeks prior and then Luke had to paint the one he got at the festival that day. The two top pics are of the boys playing outside while the paint is drying. Luke playing soccer and Jack blowing bubbles, their two favorites. Sorry the pics are out of order, but I am working on that.

Bike Rodeo

Luke had his first bike rodeo at preschool,he was so excited about his first event at school. Bike rodeo was were the kids brought their bikes and visited different centers setup and at the end a police officer checked their bikes and helmets and conducted a race. I volunteered with other parents to help and I saw how competitive he was with other kids in his class (this would be Matt in him). He would say "I am going to smoke you", and tell his friend Cannon, "let's get going". He actually had to race two different people during the bike race. It was so sweet to watch him pedal as fast as he can around the track. There is also a pic of Luke hanging laundry,he went their once and never came back to this station. I am blessed to have been able to be there to see all of this, that is one of the reasons I am doing a blog so our family and friends who live away can see what is going on in our lives. Another reason is just to have another format to document these exciting years in our lives.
