Luke's 4 !!!!

First off I can not believe that Luke is 4 years old. Sorry it has taken me a while to post his birthday pics, his party was actually on the 8th. We had a great time at the "jumpy house", that is what Luke calls it. He was so excited to have all of his friends their to celebrate his birthday. Thank you again for everyone for his gifts and coming to his party. Luke is still talking about the party. He had a soccer ball cake. Jack surprised us by climbing and jumping with everyone, in the past it has not been one of his favorite things to do.

Chick-fil- A

Sunday, we went to Chick-fil-A's Christmas Open House at their corporate office. They had a live Nativity scene, Santa, the cow santa, refreshments, they make balloons for the kids, that our kids turned into swords. Luke was so excited about the cow santa and this was the second time he willingly went up to him. I was excited b/c we got our family Christmas picture made and saw Santa all at one time.

In the Christmas Spirit

This weekend we got into the Christmas spirit and did some of our family traditions. Saturday night, our family did the candy cane hunt and then the golf cart procession to City Hall to see the lighting of the Christmas tree, it was very cold. Even all bundled up we waited for the tree to be lit and then decided to leave and go to our friends for warm cider and cookies. The boys had a good time but Matt and I missed the Christmas show at the Amphitheater this year.

A visit from Santa!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know we did. Our friends, the Candela's invited us over for Thanksgiving they also had some family from out of town. It was very yummy and the company could not have been any better. Between the three families, there were 6 boys under the age of 3 years old. They all played very well together.

On Saturday night, the 2nd Annual Santa visit happened at the Candela's. Luke and Jack were scared when Santa came throught the front door. The pic at top is Luke hiding when he heard Santa, Jack had a death grip on Matt, but after seeing the other kids sit on Santa's lap Luke warmed up but Jack did not. Santa handed out gifts to the boys and they were excited. Luke remembered this from last year and he was asking, "when is Santa coming to Carson's". Thank you, Candela's for adding us to your family traditions!!
