A Very Sick Baby

On Sunday, Jack and I spent the day in the emergency room due to severe dehydration, Matt and Luke came up there to get us all settled in and then they left. Jack had been sick since Friday afternoon with vomiting and by Sunday morning he could not left his head, we spoke to a nurse at Children's Hospital Saturday and Sunday. But by Sunday he was getting worse. The dr told us he had the rotavirus, which by this time I already had that feeling that might be it. Luke had this same virus when he was 14 months old. Once you get it, I don't think I will ever forget the severity of this virus, 10 days of severe stomach cramps and crying. Luke woke up Tuesday morning and threw up so here we go again. Hopefully, he can bounce back from this a little sooner.

Snow Day

What a cold wet mess it was that day! It was pretty to look at but yucky to get out in. Luke loved it I would have to make him come in and change his clothes and warm up and then out he would go back out again. This was the week Jack had the flu so he went outside for just pictures and then right back in. Jack was just as happy standing at the door watching Luke throw snowballs at him through the door. This was the day that their grandparents arrived and Luke, John, and Matt built a snowman and had a snowball fight in the front yard. I enjoyed watching it but I was glad it only lasted for one day.

Aquarium

Ok I know it has been a while since I have posted anything but we've had major computer problems and when we got our laptop back a month later, I couldn't remember the user name and password so after countless typing and trying to convince Google that this is MY blog I finally fiqured it out on my own.

Grandma and Grandpa Howard came down last week and treated us to a day at the Georgia Aquarium. We have been there once before when Luke was about 18 months old, so it was going to be new for the both of them. We did the 4D movie which was really cool. Luke's favorite was the whale shark. He has been talking about it everyday since then. Jack would say "Hi Fishy" to every fish he saw. The pic of them leaning over a wall is where they have a touch pool with some sort of stingrays and shark in it. Luke was not excited about it (get's that from his mother), but Jack loved it. Halfway, through the trip Matt started feeling sick so he went and sat in the car while we finished up the trip. So that is why he doesn't look thrilled in the pic above. He ended up getting the flu, Jack had it the week before, and now Luke has got it, I am next.
